Plant Based Symposium: Dr. Peter Singer (with German subtitles)

The „Plant Based Symposium“ starts on August 21st as a series of free YouTube videos about the health benefits of a plant-based diet. For the first time many of the best known plant-based physicians, scientists and dietitians as well as other important spokespersons of the plant-based movement were invited to share their knowledge with everyone. Starting on August 21st there will be a free video released every second day.

In Video #19 of The Plant Based Symposium Dr. Peter Singer shares important information about the following topics:

1. Explanation of the terms „Speciecism“, „Utilitarianism“ and „Effective Altruism“

2. An historic overview about the development of speciecism and former thought-leaders the influenced the relationship between human and non-human animals

3. Thoughts on the principle of equal considerations and equal treatment of all species

4. Key messages of the groundbreaking book „Animal Liberation“

5. Tips for advocating a vegan lifestyle to strangers

6. Dr. Singer’s key message 42 years after the publishing of „Animal Liberation“
